Free vs Basic vs Snag+
Free membership gets you SnagTabs' curated research tools and the free-drop channel — genuinely useful on its own, no card required. Snag Basic adds the speed edge: real-time alerts, the browser extension and desktop app that act on them, and everything that needs a live feed under the hood (the map, drop intelligence, the watchlist). Snag+ adds automation on top of that — it's the tier that actually checks out for you.

Why the split is drawn here
Free tier tools are all information you can act on at your own pace — what's printing, what a set's MSRP should be, what's dropped recently. Basic tools exist because speed is the whole point of them: a restock alert that reaches you seconds late is close to worthless, and running a live feed, a browser extension, and a native app to act on it the instant it fires is what Basic pays for. Snag+ goes one step further and acts on that alert for you — Missions and the checkout-automation profiles are Snag+-only because that's genuinely a different, higher-stakes thing to offer than "notify you fast."
